Yes! SEO, or search engine optimization, is included in every plan. So you can expect to see better results in Google, Bing, Yahoo, and other search engines after your redesign is complete.

The short answer:

We provide a variety of services to get your site ranking faster, including:

• Properly formatting your content so it’s easily readable by search engines
• Optimizing your content to feature the keywords your potential clients are searching for
• Speeding your website up (which makes your site more attractive to Google)
• Making your website mobile-friendly (another thing Google is looking for)
• Polishing your design so cold traffic stays longer and reads more of your site
• Installing SSL certificates, a mark of trust Google and other search engines look for

The long answer:

There are two types of search engine optimization that Google looks for when determining how your website ranks in search results: on-page and off-page SEO. Here at Web Roofing we’re experts in on-page SEO, but we do not offer off-page SEO services.

(Just a side note – SEO technically applies to any search engine. However, it’s estimated that over 95% of all search traffic comes through Google. To maximize your returns from SEO, we focus mostly on Google, so we’ll talk mostly about Google here.)

Google wants to rank sites with high quality content who are experts in their space. Google uses both on-page and off-page SEO to determine if your site meets that criteria.

To explain it very briefly, on-page SEO is all the information coming directly from your website while off-page SEO is all the information about your website coming from external sources.

On-page SEO includes not only your website content, but also your security (presence of a SSL certificate), security of your hosting, site speed, trustworthiness of your server IP address, whether your design is unique, bounce rate, customer retention, keyword density, keyword placement, meta tags, meta titles, optimized images, presence of appropriate legal policies, and more.

If just hearing that list makes you tired, you’re not alone! We’ve heard from many of our previous clients that their previous developers either neglected or were simply not aware of many of these. As a result, these businesses were forced to pay hundreds of dollars a month for additional SEO services (that in some cases didn’t integrate well enough with their website to work).

To make it more confusing, Google is constantly updating their algorithm. Understanding and quickly implementing the changes can be overwhelming for already busy business owners.

While we are not a marketing agency and do not offer off-page SEO, a strong foundation in on-page SEO will make it MUCH easier for an agency you partner with to get you results.

The speed at which you’ll see SEO results depends on your local roofing market. We will work to optimize your existing content so that it is search engine friendly. We’ll perform basic keyword research and identify critical roofing keywords for your location, incorporating them into your site. We’ll also make your site faster, mobile friendly, and secure – all things Google and other search engines want to see.

There are no long-term contracts for any Web Roofing plans. If you don’t like the service, you can simply stop working with us.

The first step to a Web Roofing project is a free mockup. If you’re not happy with the design of your mockup, you’re under no obligation to continue working with us.

If you love your mockup and redesign but determine we’re not the right fit long-term, you have two options:

1. After being with Web Roofing for 12 consecutive months, an add-on service will be available for you to receive daily or weekly ongoing backups of your new website for an additional $94. You are welcome to take this back up and move to another provider if you aren’t happy with our service.
2. Should you choose to terminate your Web Roofing contract after 12 months, we will no longer be able to provide hosting for your site or offer a discounted rate on hourly services. To prep your site for outbound migration, we will disconnect/terminate all licenses, services, and communication operated by Web Roofing. While we will provide all backups and needed files to successfully migrate out, Web Roofing does not offer outbound migration services. This would be the responsibility of your new website developer and hosting company.

The biggest value we provide is our ongoing work and relationship for your company. In some unique circumstances, we do provide lifetime licenses and rights to the site if you want to purchase it outright and take it to a new hosting provider and developer. This is offered on a case by case basis, may not be available to all customers, and pricing will depend on the amount of time we have invested into developing your site.
